Mystory as a remix
I was intrigued by one of Ulmer's examples on definition: taking a word that's defined a certain way and redefining it. How cool is that! I kept thinking of one such word that I could subject to Ulmer's MOD, but the pressure to deliver, and to internalize all I am reading, well, I need to balance.

Ulmer does that a lot with his own vocabulary. I think it makes it really fun to read. I enjoyed his idea that we need to view text as felt. Felt is much more tight woven, and we don't see the seperation of threads. The same can be said for culture.
Then there is the exchange in terminology for "melting pot" for "salad mix."
